स्विमिंग के अन्तराष्ट्रिय खिलाड़ी तनिश नव ताल्लुकदार को डीयू ने सीधे दाखिला दे दिया है | इसके अलावा कृक्केटर आयुष जामवाल, योगेश समेत अलग-अलग खेलो के कुल 10 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ियो ने डीयू में स्नातक पाठ्यक्रमों में दाखिले के लिए आवेदन किया था | डीयू में स्नातक पाठ्यक्रम में दाखिले के लिए पाँचवी कटऑफ के बाद 50 हज़ार से ज्यादा दाखिले पक्के हो चुके हो | डीयू | डीयू में स्पोर्ट्स कोटे से दाखिले के लिए कुल 12 हज़ार से अधिक आवेदन मिले थे | डीयू खेल परिषद के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के अनुसार प्राप्त आवेदन की जांच के बाद 6922 आवेदन ही योग्य पाये गए | इनके लिए 20 जून के बाद से ट्राइल का आयोजन किया गया | ट्राइल प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद ट्राइल के प्राप्तांक अंक व सर्टिफिकेट के अंको के आधार पर 3314 छात्रों को खेल कोटे से दाखिले के लिए मेरिट में स्थान मिला है|
